Colette Gaiter, artist, educator and CultureStrike delegate, recently gave a presentation at Art and Social Justice: The Media Connection Conference at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. The presentation, which you can view below or at this link, described the activities of CultureStrike delegates and showcased some of the amazing art that has emerged from this movement. Since the September delegation, CultureStrikers have engaged in a range of actions, from investigative journalism to theater, that demonstrate in both form and content how art and activism can be fused to build a collective vision for social justice.
